Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Marinade

In a bowl, mix olive oil, smoked paprika, garlic powder, salt, black pepper, honey, and lemon juice to create a marinade.

  2. 2

    Marinate the Chicken

Add the chicken drumsticks to the marinade and coat well. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, or overnight for best results.

  3. 3

    Prepare the Vegetables

Chop the carrots and celery into bite-sized pieces. Set aside.

  4. 4

    Preheat the Smoker

Preheat your smoker to 250°F (120°C) according to the manufacturer's instructions.

  5. 5

    Smoke the Drumsticks

Place the marinated drumsticks in the smoker. Smoke for about 1.5 to 2 hours, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).

  6. 6

    Add the Vegetables

During the last 30 minutes of smoking, add the chopped carrots and celery to the smoker to cook alongside the chicken.

  7. 7

    Serve

Once cooked, remove the drumsticks and vegetables from the smoker. Let the chicken rest for a few minutes before serving.
