Prepare the Tomato Mixture
Chop the fresh tomatoes into small pieces and place them in a mixing bowl. Finely chop the fresh basil leaves and add them to the bowl.

Add Flavor
Mince the garlic cloves and add them to the tomato and basil mixture. Pour in the olive oil and balsamic vinegar, then season with salt and black pepper. Mix everything gently to combine.

Toast the Bread
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Slice a baguette or Italian bread into 1/2-inch slices and arrange them on a baking sheet. Toast in the preheated oven for about 5-7 minutes or until golden brown.

Assemble the Bruschetta
Remove the toasted bread from the oven and let it cool slightly. Top each slice with a generous spoonful of the tomato mixture.

Serve the bruschetta immediately while the bread is still warm, and enjoy!
