Cooking Instructions

1

Prepare the Steak

Remove the New York strip steaks from the refrigerator and let them sit at room temperature for about 30 minutes before cooking. This ensures even cooking.

2

Season the Steak

Pat the steaks dry with paper towels. Drizzle olive oil on both sides of the steaks. Season generously with salt, black pepper, and garlic powder.

3

Preheat the Grill or Skillet

Preheat your grill to high heat or heat a cast-iron skillet over medium-high heat. If using a skillet, add a little olive oil to coat the bottom.

4

Cook the Steak

Place the steaks on the grill or skillet. Cook for about 4-5 minutes on one side without moving them. Flip the steaks and cook for an additional 4-5 minutes for medium-rare, or until your desired doneness.

5

Add Rosemary

During the last minute of cooking, add fresh rosemary sprigs on top of the steaks for added flavor.

6

Rest and Serve

Remove the steaks from the heat and let them rest for 5-10 minutes before slicing. Serve with your favorite side dishes.
