Burger Preparation
Prepare the Burger Patty
In a mixing bowl, combine the ground chuck with salt and black pepper. Gently mix until just combined, then form into a patty, about 1 inch thick.
Grill the Burger
Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. Place the burger patty on the grill and cook for about 4-5 minutes on one side. Flip the burger and cook for an additional 4-5 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C). If you’re using cheese, add it on top of the patty during the last minute of cooking to allow it to melt.
Assemble the Burger
Toast the burger bun on the grill for 1-2 minutes. Place the cooked patty on the bun, add lettuce, tomato, and any additional toppings you prefer. Cover with the top half of the bun.
Serve with French Fries
Serve the Café Burger alongside a generous portion of French fries. Enjoy your meal!
