Method

For the Chicken Wings

  1. 1

    Marinate the Wings

In a large bowl, toss the chicken wings with Calabrian chili paste, olive oil, garlic powder, salt, black pepper, and lemon juice. Let them marinate for at least 30 minutes.

  2. 2

    Bake the Wings

Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Spread the marinated wings on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake for 40-45 minutes, flipping halfway through, until crispy and cooked through.

For the Focaccia Bread

  1. 3

    Prepare the Dough

In a bowl, mix the warm water with yeast and let it sit for about 5 minutes until frothy. In a separate large bowl, combine the flour and salt, then add the yeast mixture and 2 tablespoons of olive oil. Mix until a dough forms.

  2. 4

    Knead and Rise

Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 10 minutes until smooth. Place it in a greased bowl, cover with a cloth, and let rise in a warm place for about 1 hour, or until doubled in size.

  3. 5

    Shape and Bake

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Punch down the dough and spread it out on a greased baking sheet. Dimple the surface with your fingers, drizzle with olive oil, sprinkle with rosemary, and bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
