Preparation Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Patties

In a bowl, combine the ground beef, salt, and black pepper. Form the mixture into 4 equal-sized patties.

  2. 2

    Cook the Patties

Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until they reach your desired doneness.

  3. 3

    Add Cheese

During the last minute of cooking, place a slice of Gruyère cheese on each patty and cover the skillet to melt the cheese.

  4. 4

    Toast the Buns

While the cheese is melting, toast the burger buns in a separate skillet or toaster until golden brown.

  5. 5

    Assemble the Burgers

Spread Dijon mustard on the bottom half of each bun. Place the cooked patty with melted cheese on top, followed by a generous amount of caramelized onions and fresh arugula. Top with the other half of the bun.

  6. 6

    Serve

Serve the Burger Parisienne immediately with your favorite sides.
