Cooking Instructions
- 1
Prepare the Beef
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Season the beef tenderloin with salt and black pepper on all sides.
- 2
Sear the Beef
In a large oven-safe skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the beef tenderloin and sear on all sides until browned, about 2-3 minutes per side.
- 3
Roast the Beef
Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and roast the beef for about 15-20 minutes, or until it reaches your desired doneness (130°F for medium-rare).
- 4
Prepare the Cafe de Paris Butter Sauce
In a mixing bowl, combine the softened unsalted butter with chopped parsley, chives, tarragon, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, minced garlic, chopped capers, anchovy paste, and lemon juice. Mix until well combined.
- 5
Serve
Once the beef is done, remove it from the oven and let it rest for 5-10 minutes. Slice the beef and serve topped with the Cafe de Paris butter sauce.
