Cook the Rice
In a medium pot, cook the rice with 2 cups of water until tender. Drain and set aside.

Prepare the Milk Mixture
In a large saucepan, combine the milk, sugar, vanilla extract, cornstarch, and salt. Whisk the mixture over medium heat until it begins to thicken.

Combine Ingredients
Once thickened, remove from heat and let it cool slightly. Stir in the cooked rice and beaten eggs until well combined.

Pour the mixture into a greased baking dish and sprinkle ground cinnamon on top. Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for about 30-40 minutes or until set and lightly golden on top.

Allow the sutlac to cool before serving. It can be served warm or chilled, and is best topped with extra cinnamon.
