Preparation
- 1
Preheat the oven
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- 2
Prepare the Brussels sprouts
Trim the ends of the Brussels sprouts and remove any yellow or damaged outer leaves. Cut the sprouts in half lengthwise.
- 3
Make the balsamic glaze
In a small saucepan, combine the balsamic vinegar and honey. Bring to a simmer over medium heat and cook until the mixture reduces by half and thickens, about 10-15 minutes. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
Roasting
- 4
Toss the Brussels sprouts
In a large bowl, toss the halved Brussels sprouts with olive oil, salt, and black pepper until evenly coated.
- 5
Arrange on a baking sheet
Spread the Brussels sprouts out on a baking sheet in a single layer, cut side down.
- 6
Roast in the oven
Roast the Brussels sprouts in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until they are golden brown and crispy on the edges.
- 7
Glaze the Brussels sprouts
Remove the Brussels sprouts from the oven and drizzle the balsamic glaze over them while they are still hot. Toss gently to coat.
