Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Mashed Potatoes

Peel and chop the potatoes into chunks. Boil in salted water until tender, about 15-20 minutes. Drain and mash with butter, salt, and pepper to taste.

  2. 2

    Braised Kale

In a pan, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add chopped kale and sauté until wilted, about 5-7 minutes. Season with salt and pepper.

  3. 3

    Cook the Salmon

Season the salmon filet with salt and pepper. In a skillet, heat a little olive oil over medium-high heat. Cook the salmon skin-side down for about 4-5 minutes, then flip and cook for another 3-4 minutes until cooked through.

  4. 4

    Make Lemon Cream Sauce

In a small saucepan, combine heavy cream and lemon juice. Simmer over low heat until slightly thickened. Season with salt and pepper.

  5. 5

    Assemble the Dish

On a plate, create a bed of mashed potatoes, top with braised kale, and place the cooked salmon filet on top. Drizzle with the lemon cream sauce before serving.
