Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Patties

In a mixing bowl, combine ground beef, salt, and black pepper. Form the mixture into four patties, each weighing about 4 ounces.

  2. 2

    Cook the Patties

Preheat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until they reach an internal temperature of 160°F (71°C).

  3. 3

    Add Cheese

In the last minute of cooking, place a slice of American cheese on each patty and cover to melt.

  4. 4

    Prepare the Toppings

While the patties are cooking, wash and dry the lettuce leaves. Slice the tomato into thin rounds.

  5. 5

    Assemble the Burger

Spread mayonnaise on the bottom half of each bun. Place the cooked patty with melted cheese on top, followed by lettuce, tomato slices, and house-made pickles. Top with the other half of the bun.

  6. 6

    Serve

Serve the burgers immediately with your choice of side.
