Directions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Garlic Butter

In a medium bowl, soften the unsalted butter at room temperature. Mince the garlic cloves and add them to the butter. Mix well until combined. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.

  2. 2

    Assemble the Bread

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Slice the ciabatta loaf in half lengthwise. Spread the garlic compound butter evenly over the cut sides of the bread.

  3. 3

    Add the Cheeses

Sprinkle the mozzarella cheese evenly over the buttered halves, followed by the grated Parmesan cheese.

  4. 4

    Seasoning and Toasting

Sprinkle the Italian seasoning over the cheese topping. Place the prepared bread on a baking sheet and toast in the preheated oven for about 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly, and the edges are golden brown.

  5. 5

    Serve

Remove from the oven, let cool slightly, slice into portions, and serve warm.
