Method

Burger Preparation

  1. 1

    Cook the Bacon

In a skillet over medium heat, cook the bacon slices until crispy. Remove and let drain on paper towels.

  2. 2

    Prepare the Patties

In a bowl, combine ground beef with salt and black pepper. Form into two equal patties.

  3. 3

    Cook the Patties

In the same skillet used for the bacon, cook the beef patties over medium-high heat for about 4-5 minutes per side or until desired doneness.

  4. 4

    Add Bleu Cheese

During the last minute of cooking, sprinkle the bleu cheese crumbles on top of the patties and cover with a lid to melt.

  5. 5

    Toast the Buns

While the patties are cooking, toast the burger buns in a separate skillet or in the oven until golden brown.

  6. 6

    Assemble the Burger

On the bottom half of the toasted bun, layer the lettuce, tomato slices, onion rings, and the cooked patty topped with bleu cheese. Add the crispy bacon and drizzle with Buffalo sauce, then cap with the top bun.
