Method

Burger Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Patties

Divide the ground Angus beef into two equal portions and form into patties, about 1/4 lb each. Season both sides with salt and black pepper.

  2. 2

    Grill the Patties

Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. Place the patties on the grill and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until they reach your desired level of doneness.

  3. 3

    Add Cheese

In the last minute of cooking, place a slice of aged cheddar cheese on each patty to melt.

  4. 4

    Assemble the Burger

Toast the burger buns on the grill for 1-2 minutes. On the bottom half of each bun, layer mixed greens, the grilled patty with melted cheese, sliced tomato, red onion, and house pickles. Top with the other half of the bun.

  5. 5

    Serve

Serve the Angus burgers hot, with your choice of sides.
