- 2
Add Tomatoes
Add the fresh plum tomatoes, salt, black pepper, dried oregano, and chopped basil. Stir well.
- 3
Simmer
Bring the sauce to a simmer. Reduce the heat to low and let it cook for 20-25 minutes, stirring occasionally until it thickens.
- 4
Blend (Optional)
For a smoother sauce, use an immersion blender to blend the sauce to your desired consistency. Set aside.
Pizza Assembly
- 5
Preheat Oven
Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C). If using a pizza stone, place it in the oven to heat up.
- 6
Prepare the Dough
On a floured surface, roll out the pizza dough into a round shape that fits your pizza pan or stone.
- 7
Add Sauce
Spread a generous layer of the prepared tomato sauce over the rolled-out pizza dough.
- 8
Layer the Toppings
Evenly distribute the shredded mozzarella cheese over the sauce. Then layer with pepperoni slices, cooked ground beef, crumbled bacon, and cooked Italian sausage.
- 9
Bake
Transfer the prepared pizza to the oven and bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is bubbling.
- 10
Cool and Serve
Remove the pizza from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes. Slice and serve hot.
