Method

Salad Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Salad Ingredients

Chop the romaine lettuce into bite-sized pieces. Halve the cherry tomatoes and slice the cucumber into thin rounds.

  2. 2

    Assemble the Salad

In a large bowl, combine the chopped lettuce, cherry tomatoes, and cucumber. Drizzle with Caesar dressing and toss to coat. Top with grated Parmesan cheese and croutons just before serving.

Homemade Bread Preparation

  1. 3

    Activate the Yeast

In a small bowl, combine warm water, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit for about 5-10 minutes until foamy.

  2. 4

    Mix the Dough

In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour and salt. Once the yeast mixture is foamy, add it along with olive oil to the flour. Mix until a dough forms.

  3. 5

    Knead the Dough

Transfer the dough to a floured surface and knead for about 10 minutes until smooth and elastic.

  4. 6

    Let the Dough Rise

Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover it with a cloth, and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour or until doubled in size.

  5. 7

    Bake the Bread

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Punch down the risen dough, shape it into a loaf, and place it in a greased loaf pan. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until golden brown.

Garlic Dip Preparation

  1. 8

    Mix the Dip Ingredients

In a mixing bowl, combine mayonnaise, minced garlic, lemon juice, salt, and black pepper. Stir until well combined.

  2. 9

    Chill the Dip

Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving to allow the flavors to meld.

Serving Preparation

  1. 10

    Set the Table

Place the plates and utensils on the table. Set up the chafing dishes for the buffet layout.

  2. 11

    Serve the Meal

Present the salad, homemade bread, and garlic dip in the chafing dishes for guests to serve themselves.
