- 3
Bread the Chicken
Coat each chicken breast in flour, then dip into the egg mixture, and finally coat with breadcrumbs. Ensure each piece is well-coated.

In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Fry the breaded chicken cutlets for about 3-4 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and cooked through. Remove and drain on paper towels.
Assemble and Bake
- 5
Preheat Oven
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- 6
Layer Ingredients
In a baking dish, place the fried chicken cutlets. Spoon marinara sauce over each piece, then sprinkle shredded mozzarella and grated Parmesan cheese on top.
- 7
Bake
Place the baking dish in the preheated oven and bake for 15-20 minutes or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
- 8
Prepare the Bread
While the chicken is baking, cut the ciabatta rolls in half and lightly toast them if desired.
- 9
Finalize the Dish
Once the chicken is done baking, remove it from the oven. Place a chicken cutlet on each ciabatta roll, top with fresh basil leaves, and close the roll.
