Method

Appetizers

  1. 1

    Prepare the Bruschetta

Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Slice the loaf of bread into 1/2 inch slices and place them on a baking sheet.

  2. 2

    Make the Tomato Mixture

Chop the Roma tomatoes and place them in a bowl. Add chopped fresh basil, minced garlic, olive oil, balsamic vinegar, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.

  3. 3

    Toast the Bread

Toast the bread slices in the preheated oven for about 5 minutes until golden brown.

  4. 4

    Assemble

Top each toasted bread slice with the tomato mixture and serve immediately.

Main Course

  1. 5

    Prepare the Marinade

In a bowl, whisk together olive oil, minced garlic, lemon juice, dried oregano, salt, and black pepper.

  2. 6

    Marinate the Chicken

Place the chicken breasts in a large zip-lock bag and pour the marinade over. Seal the bag and let it marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.

  3. 7

    Cook the Chicken

Heat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Remove chicken from the marinade, discarding the marinade. Cook the chicken for about 6-7 minutes on each side until cooked through.

  4. 8

    Garnish and Serve

Remove the chicken from the heat and sprinkle with chopped fresh parsley before serving.

Dessert

  1. 9

    Make the Chocolate Ganache

Chop the dark chocolate and place it in a bowl. In a small saucepan, heat the heavy cream until it just begins to simmer. Pour the hot cream over the chocolate and let it sit for a few minutes, then stir until smooth.

  2. 10

    Prepare the Strawberries

Wash and hull the fresh strawberries. You can leave them whole or slice them in half.

  3. 11

    Serve

Dip the strawberries into the chocolate ganache or drizzle ganache over the strawberries. Serve immediately.
