Method
Preparation of Seafood
- 1
Prepare the Shrimp
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Carefully split the backs of the shrimp, ensuring not to cut all the way through. This will create a pocket for the stuffing.
- 2
Mix the Seafood
In a mixing bowl, combine the chopped scallops, lump crab meat, and half of the shrimp. Reserve the other half for topping later.
Making the Stuffing
- 3
Combine Ingredients
In the same bowl, add breadcrumbs, minced garlic, chopped green onions, parsley, Old Bay seasoning, salt, black pepper, and the beaten egg. Mix well until all ingredients are fully combined.
Stuffing the Shrimp
- 4
Fill the Shrimp
Take a spoonful of the stuffing mixture and carefully fill each shrimp pocket. Place the reserved shrimp on top of the filling for added flavor and presentation.
Baking
- 5
Prepare for Baking
Arrange the stuffed shrimp in a baking dish. Pour melted butter and dry white wine over the shrimp, ensuring they are well coated.
- 6
Bake
Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes. After 20 minutes, remove the foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes, or until the shrimp are cooked through and the stuffing is golden brown.
