Prepare the Milkshake
In a blender, combine the ice cream and milk. Blend until smooth and creamy.

Add Flavor
If using, add the chocolate or caramel syrup to the blender and blend again to mix.

Serve
Pour the milkshake into a tall glass. If desired, add a shot of liquor on top.

Prepare the Fiz Float
In a separate glass, pour the birch beer or espresso soda over a scoop of ice cream.

Top with Whipped Cream
Add whipped cream on top of both the milkshake and the fiz float.

Garnish
Finish with a cherry on top for garnish.
