In a small bowl, combine warm water and honey. Sprinkle the active dry yeast on top and let it sit for about 5-10 minutes until frothy.

Activate the Yeast

In a large mixing bowl, combine the all-purpose flour and salt. Make a well in the center and pour in the activated yeast mixture. Mix until a rough dough forms.

Mix the Dough

Transfer the dough to a floured surface and knead for about 10 minutes until smooth and elastic. Add flour as needed to prevent sticking.

Knead the Dough

Place the kneaded dough in a greased bowl, cover it with a damp cloth, and let it rise in a warm place for about 1-2 hours, or until doubled in size.

First Rise

Once risen, punch down the dough and turn it onto a floured surface. Shape it into a loaf or desired shape and place it in a greased loaf pan or on a baking sheet.

Shape the Bread

Cover the shaped dough with a cloth and let it rise again for 30-45 minutes until puffy.

Second Rise

Preheat the Oven

Once the dough has risen, bake it in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes until golden brown and the bread sounds hollow when tapped on the bottom.

Bake the Bread

Remove the bread from the oven and let it cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely. Slice and enjoy!
