Prepare the Halibut
Cut the halibut fillets into bite-sized pieces. Season with salt and black pepper.

Sauté the Aromatics
In a large skillet or wok, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat. Add the minced garlic and ginger, and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.

Cook the Halibut
Add the halibut pieces to the skillet. Stir-fry gently for about 5-7 minutes or until the halibut is cooked through and flakes easily.

Add Sauces
Stir in the black bean sauce and soy sauce. Mix well to coat the halibut and vegetables evenly. Cook for another 2-3 minutes.

Serve
Remove from heat, garnish with chopped green onions, and serve hot over steamed rice or noodles.
