Directions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Halibut

Cut the halibut fillets into bite-sized pieces. Season with salt and black pepper.

  2. 2

    Sauté the Aromatics

In a large skillet or wok, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat. Add the minced garlic and ginger, and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.

  3. 3

    Add Vegetables

Add the sliced onions and mushrooms to the skillet. Stir-fry for about 3-4 minutes until the onions become translucent and the mushrooms are tender.

  4. 4

    Cook the Halibut

Add the halibut pieces to the skillet. Stir-fry gently for about 5-7 minutes or until the halibut is cooked through and flakes easily.

  5. 5

    Add Sauces

Stir in the black bean sauce and soy sauce. Mix well to coat the halibut and vegetables evenly. Cook for another 2-3 minutes.

  6. 6

    Serve

Remove from heat, garnish with chopped green onions, and serve hot over steamed rice or noodles.
