Main Ingredients

Method

Fermentation Process

  1. 1

    Prepare the Apples

Wash and core the cider apples. Cut them into quarters and place them in a large container.

  2. 2

    Extract Juice

Using a juicer or apple press, extract the juice from the quartered apples and transfer it to a fermentation vessel.

  3. 3

    Add Ingredients

Add water, sugar, and cinnamon sticks to the apple juice in the fermentation vessel. Stir until the sugar is fully dissolved.

  4. 4

    Add Yeast

Sprinkle the yeast over the juice mixture and stir gently to combine.

  5. 5

    Cover and Ferment

Cover the fermentation vessel with a clean cloth and secure it with a rubber band. Let it sit in a cool, dark place for 1-2 weeks, stirring daily.

  6. 6

    Bottling

After fermentation is complete (when bubbling stops), strain the mixture into clean bottles, leaving some space at the top. Seal the bottles with caps.

  7. 7

    Conditioning

Let the bottles sit at room temperature for another week to carbonate. Then, refrigerate before serving.
