Preparation Instructions
- 1
Cook the Meat
In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add ground beef or chicken, season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Cook until browned and fully cooked, about 8-10 minutes. Drain excess fat if needed.
- 2
Prepare the Tortillas
Warm the flour tortillas in a separate pan or microwave to make them pliable.
- 3
Assemble the Burritos
On each tortilla, place a portion of the cooked meat, shredded cheese, and a few tablespoons of burrito sauce. Roll the tortilla tightly to enclose the filling.
- 4
Melt the Cheese
Place the assembled burritos seam side down in a baking dish. Pour additional burrito sauce over the top and sprinkle with more shredded cheese. Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for about 15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- 5
Serve with Sides
Serve the burritos topped with lettuce, diced tomatoes, and a dollop of sour cream, alongside cooked rice and refried beans.
