Method

Cooking the Meat

    Prepare the Meat

    In a skillet over medium heat, add the ground beef. Cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spatula, about 5-7 minutes.

    Season the Meat

    Once the beef is cooked through, drain any excess fat. Add taco seasoning to the beef, along with 1/4 cup of water. Stir to combine and simmer for about 3-5 minutes until the sauce thickens.

Preparing the Toppings

    Chop the Onion

    Finely chop the onion and set aside.

    Prepare the Cilantro

    Rinse the cilantro under cold water, shake off excess water, and chop roughly. Set aside.

Assembling the Tacos

    Warm the Tortillas

    In a dry skillet over medium heat, warm the corn tortillas for about 30 seconds on each side until pliable.

    Build the Tacos

    Place a portion of the seasoned meat onto each tortilla. Top with chopped onions and cilantro.

    Serve the tacos immediately, garnished with additional cilantro if desired.
