Canelones Preparation

1. Prepare the Filling

In a large mixing bowl, combine the shredded chicken, ricotta cheese, grated Parmesan cheese, cooked spinach, minced garlic, salt, black pepper, and nutmeg. Mix until well combined.

2. Stuff the Canelones

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Take the canelones pasta tubes and carefully stuff each one with the chicken mixture using a spoon or a piping bag.

3. Prepare the Sauce

In a saucepan, heat your choice of marinara or béchamel sauce until warm. Spread a thin layer of sauce on the bottom of a baking dish.

4. Assemble the Dish

Place the stuffed canelones in the baking dish, side by side. Cover with the remaining sauce and sprinkle additional Parmesan cheese on top.
