Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Veal

Season the veal scallopine with salt and black pepper on both sides.

  2. 2

    Sauté the Veal

In a large skillet, heat olive oil and 1 tablespoon of butter over medium-high heat. Add the veal and sauté for about 2-3 minutes on each side until browned. Remove the veal from the skillet and set aside.

  3. 3

    Cook the Mushrooms and Garlic

In the same skillet, add the remaining butter and the minced garlic. Sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant. Then add the sliced mushrooms and cook for about 5 minutes until they are soft and browned.

  4. 4

    Create the Sauce

Pour in the Marsala wine and bring it to a boil. Scrape the bottom of the skillet to incorporate any flavorful bits. Allow the sauce to simmer for about 5 minutes until it slightly thickens.

  5. 5

    Combine Everything

Return the veal to the skillet and simmer for an additional 2-3 minutes, allowing the veal to absorb the flavors of the sauce. Stir in the chopped parsley just before serving.

  6. 6

    Serve

Serve the Vitello Marsala hot, garnished with extra parsley if desired.
