Preparation and Cooking

1

Prepare the Filling

In a mixing bowl, combine crumbled feta cheese, chopped dill, salt, and black pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are combined.

2

Prepare the Phyllo Dough

Lay out a sheet of phyllo dough on a clean surface. Brush it lightly with olive oil. Place another sheet on top and brush with olive oil again. Repeat until you have about 4-5 layers.

3

Fill and Roll

Place a spoonful of the feta mixture at one end of the phyllo dough. Roll it tightly, folding in the sides to secure the filling. Continue rolling until you reach the other end. Brush the ends with olive oil to seal.

4

Fry the Rolls

In a large frying pan, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Once hot, carefully add the cigar rolls, frying until golden brown on all sides. Remove and place on paper towels to drain excess oil.

5

Serve with Tzatziki

Serve the cigar rolls warm with a side of tzatziki sauce for dipping.
