Preheat the Oven
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) to ensure it’s ready for baking.

Combine Dry Ingredients
In a large bowl, mix together the all-purpose flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg until well combined.

Mix Ingredients
Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined. Do not overmix.

Fold in the chocolate chips and chopped nuts evenly into the batter.
Baking

Prepare Baking Pan
Grease and flour a 9x13 inch baking pan to prevent sticking.

Pour Batter
Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and spread it evenly.

Place the pan in the preheated oven and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

Once baked, remove from the oven and let it cool in the pan for about 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack. Cut into squares and serve.
