Prepare Jellu Base

1. Mix Agar-Agar

In a saucepan, combine 2 cups of water and 1 tablespoon of agar-agar powder. Stir well and let it soak for 10 minutes.

2. Dissolve Ingredients

After soaking, place the saucepan on medium heat and add 1 cup of sugar. Stir continuously until the agar-agar and sugar are fully dissolved.

3. Add Color

If using food coloring, add a drop at this stage and mix well until it's evenly distributed.

4. Set the Mixture

Pour the mixture into a mold or tray and let it cool at room temperature until it sets, which usually takes about 1-2 hours.

Prepare Cha

5. Boil Water

In a saucepan, bring 2 cups of water to a boil.

6. Steep Tea

Once boiling, add 2 tablespoons of black tea leaves and crushed cardamom pods. Let it steep for 5 minutes.

7. Add Milk and Sugar

After steeping, add 1 cup of milk and 2 tablespoons of sugar to the saucepan. Stir well and let it simmer for another 5 minutes.

8. Strain Cha

Remove from heat, strain the tea into cups, and discard the tea leaves and cardamom.
