Preparing the BBQ Sauce

Make the BBQ Sauce
In a small saucepan over medium heat, combine ketchup, brown sugar, apple cider vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, smoked paprika, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Stir to combine and simmer for 10 minutes until slightly thickened. Remove from heat and set aside.
Cooking the Burger

Prepare the Bacon
In a skillet over medium heat, cook the bacon slices until crispy. Remove and place on paper towels to drain excess grease.

Cook the Burger Patty
In a large bowl, season the ground beef with salt and pepper. Form into two equal-sized patties. In the same skillet used for the bacon, cook the patties over medium-high heat for about 4-5 minutes on each side or until they reach desired doneness. During the last minute of cooking, place a slice of cheddar cheese on each patty to melt.

Warm the Kalua Pork
In a separate saucepan, warm the kalua pork over medium heat until heated through, about 5 minutes.
