Wonton Chips

Toppings

Method

Preparing Wonton Chips

  1. 1

    Cutting the Wonton Wrappers

Take the wonton wrappers and cut each one into quarters to make small triangles.

  2. 2

    Frying the Chips

Heat the vegetable oil in a deep pan over medium-high heat. Once hot, carefully add the wonton triangles in batches, frying until they are golden brown and crispy, about 2-3 minutes. Remove and drain on paper towels.

Preparing the Toppings

  1. 3

    Preparing the Ahi Tuna

Dice the Ahi tuna into small bite-sized pieces and set aside.

  2. 4

    Chopping the Vegetables

Finely chop the white onion and slice the green onions on a diagonal. Cut the avocado in half, remove the pit, and scoop out the flesh, then slice it into thin pieces.

  3. 5

    Making the Sriracha Aioli

In a small bowl, mix the mayonnaise and Sriracha together until well combined to create a spicy aioli.

Assembling the Nachos

  1. 6

    Layering the Nachos

On a large serving platter, arrange the fried wonton chips as the base. Top with the diced Ahi tuna, chopped white onion, sliced green onion, and avocado pieces.

  2. 7

    Finishing Touches

Sprinkle furikake seasoning evenly over the top and drizzle the Sriracha aioli generously across the nachos.
