Method

Korean BBQ Short Ribs

1

Marinate the Ribs

In a bowl, mix soy sauce, brown sugar, minced garlic, ginger, sesame oil, and black pepper. Add beef short ribs and coat well. Cover and marinate for at least 2 hours or overnight for best flavor.

2

Cook the Ribs

Preheat a grill or grill pan over medium-high heat. Grill the ribs for about 5-7 minutes on each side until they are nicely charred and cooked through. Sprinkle with chopped green onions before serving.

Fried Kimchi

3

Fry the Kimchi

In a skillet, heat vegetable oil over medium heat. Add chopped kimchi and sauté for about 5-7 minutes until slightly crispy. Sprinkle with sesame seeds before serving.

Miso Soup

4

Prepare Miso Soup

In a pot, bring dashi stock or water to a boil. Reduce heat and add miso paste, stirring until dissolved. Add cubed tofu and sliced green onions. Simmer for 5 minutes before serving.

Salad

5

Make the Salad

In a large bowl, combine mixed greens, shredded carrot, and sliced cucumber. Drizzle with sesame dressing and toss gently before serving.

Rice

6

Cook the Rice

Rinse jasmine rice under cold water until water runs clear. In a pot, combine rice and water. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low. Cover and simmer for 15-20 minutes until rice is tender. Fluff with a fork before serving.

Chef's Choice Seasonal Dishes

7

Prepare Seasonal Vegetables

In a skillet, heat sesame oil over medium heat. Sauté minced garlic until fragrant, then add seasonal vegetables. Stir-fry for about 5-7 minutes until tender. Drizzle with soy sauce before serving.
