Spicy Ranch Dressing

Prepare Salad Base
- 1
Chop the Romaine Lettuce
Wash the romaine lettuce thoroughly and chop it into bite-sized pieces. Place it in a large salad bowl.
- 2
- 3
Prepare the Avocado
Cut the avocados in half, remove the pit, and scoop the flesh out with a spoon. Cut the avocado into cubes and add them to the salad bowl.
- 4
Add Charred Corn
If using fresh corn, grill it until charred, then cut the kernels off the cob. If using canned or frozen corn, make sure it is heated and slightly charred before adding. Mix the charred corn into the salad.
- 5
Incorporate Tortilla Strips
Add the tortilla strips to the salad mixture and toss gently to combine all ingredients.
Make Spicy Ranch Dressing
- 6
Combine Ingredients
In a small bowl, mix together the ranch dressing, hot sauce, lime juice, garlic powder, chili powder, salt, and black pepper until well combined.
- 7
Adjust Seasoning
Taste the dressing and adjust seasoning with more salt, pepper, or hot sauce as desired.
Assemble Salad
- 8
Dress the Salad
Drizzle the spicy ranch dressing over the salad and toss gently to coat all ingredients evenly.
- 9
Serve
Divide the salad into serving bowls or plates and enjoy immediately.
