Method

Prepare Turkey Breast

  1. 1

    Preheat Oven

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

  2. 2

    Season Turkey Breast

In a bowl, mix olive oil, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Rub this mixture all over the turkey breast.

  3. 3

    Roast Turkey

Place the seasoned turkey breast on a baking sheet and roast in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).

  4. 4

    Slice Turkey

Once cooked, remove from the oven and let it rest for 10 minutes. Then, slice the turkey breast thinly.

Make Cole Slaw

  1. 5

    Combine Ingredients

In a large bowl, combine shredded cabbage and carrots.

  2. 6

    Mix Dressing

In a separate bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, apple cider vinegar, sugar, salt, and black pepper until smooth.

  3. 7

    Combine Slaw

Pour the dressing over the cabbage and carrots, and toss until well coated. Refrigerate for at least 15 minutes to allow flavors to meld.

Assemble Sandwich

  1. 8

    Toast Buns (optional)

If desired, lightly toast the gluten-free buns in a skillet or toaster.

  2. 9

    Layer Ingredients

On the bottom half of each bun, place a slice of Swiss cheese followed by a generous portion of roasted turkey slices and a scoop of cole slaw.

  3. 10

    Complete Sandwich

Top with the other half of the bun and serve immediately.
