Prepare the Chicken
Season the chicken breast with salt and black pepper on both sides.

Breading the Chicken
Set up a breading station with three bowls: one with flour, one with beaten eggs, and one with breadcrumbs. Dredge each chicken breast in flour, dip into beaten eggs, and then coat with breadcrumbs.

Cook the Chicken
In a large skillet, heat the oil over medium-high heat. Once hot, carefully add the breaded chicken breasts. Fry for about 6-7 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through. Remove and drain on paper towels.

Cook the Bacon
In the same skillet, cook the peppered bacon until crispy. Remove and drain on paper towels.

Toast the Bread
In a toaster or skillet, toast the slices of sourdough bread until golden brown.

Assemble the Sandwich
On one slice of toasted sourdough, layer the fried chicken, followed by a slice of cheddar cheese, crispy bacon, lettuce, and a drizzle of chipotle ranch dressing. Top with another slice of toasted sourdough.
