Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Meat

If using pre-cooked pulled pork, chicken, or brisket, simply slice or shred them into bite-sized pieces. If cooking from scratch, smoke or grill the meats until fully cooked, then shred or slice as required.

  2. 2

    Chop the Vegetables

Wash and halve the cherry tomatoes. Thinly slice the red onion. Set aside with the mixed greens in a large mixing bowl.

Assembly

  1. 3

    Combine Ingredients

In a large bowl, combine the mixed greens, cherry tomatoes, sliced red onion, pulled pork, sliced chicken breast, and sliced brisket.

  2. 4

    Add Cheese and Chips

Sprinkle the cheddar cheese over the top of the salad mixture. Add Zapp's chips as a crunchy topping.

Dressing

  1. 5

    Make the Dressing

In a small bowl, whisk together olive oil, red wine vinegar, salt, and black pepper until emulsified.

  2. 6

    Dress the Salad

Drizzle the dressing over the salad just before serving. Toss gently to coat all ingredients.

Serving

  1. 7

    Serve and Enjoy

Serve the smoked meat salad chilled or at room temperature. Enjoy with extra Zapp's chips on the side.
