Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Dry Rub

In a bowl, combine brown sugar, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, salt, and cayenne pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly combined.

  2. 2

    Season the Ribs

Pat the beef ribs dry with paper towels. Generously rub the dry rub mixture all over the ribs, ensuring they are well coated. Let the ribs sit at room temperature for about 30 minutes to absorb the flavors.

Cooking

  1. 3

    Slow Cook the Ribs

Place the seasoned ribs in a slow cooker. Cover and cook on low for 8 hours or until the meat is tender and falling off the bone.

  2. 4

    Add Barbecue Sauce

In the last hour of cooking, pour the barbecue sauce over the ribs. Cover and let it continue to cook, allowing the sauce to heat through and caramelize slightly.

Serving

  1. 5

    Plate and Garnish

Once cooked, carefully remove the ribs from the slow cooker. Place them on a serving platter, drizzle with extra barbecue sauce if desired, and sprinkle with chopped fresh parsley for garnish.
