Method

Cooking the Shrimp

  1. 1

    Marinate the Shrimp

In a mixing bowl, combine the large shrimp, Cajun seasoning, olive oil, minced garlic, lemon juice, salt, and black pepper. Toss to ensure the shrimp are evenly coated. Let the shrimp marinate for at least 15 minutes.

  2. 2

    Heat the Skillet

Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the marinated shrimp to the skillet in a single layer. Cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until shrimp are pink and opaque. Remove from heat and set aside.

Preparing the Garlic Bread

  1. 3

    Prepare the Garlic Butter

In a small bowl, combine softened butter, minced garlic, and chopped fresh parsley. Mix well until thoroughly combined.

  2. 4

    Toast the Bread

Slice the French baguette in half lengthwise. Spread the garlic butter mixture evenly onto both halves of the bread. Place the bread on a baking sheet and broil in the oven for 3-5 minutes, or until golden and toasted.

Serving

  1. 5

    Serve and Enjoy

Serve the spicy Cajun shrimp hot alongside the toasted garlic bread. Enjoy your meal!
