Cheese Filling
Method
Cheesecake Preparation
- 1
Prepare the crust
Preheat your oven to 325°F (160°C). In a mixing bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and sugar. Press the mixture firmly into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan to form an even crust.
- 2
Make the filling
In a large mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese until smooth. Gradually add the granulated sugar and continue to mix until fully incorporated. Add sour cream, vanilla extract, and mix well. Incorporate the eggs one at a time, mixing on low speed until just combined. Finally, add the flour and mix until smooth.
- 3
Bake the cheesecake
Pour the filling over the prepared crust in the springform pan. Bake in the preheated oven for about 55-60 minutes, or until the center is set but still slightly jiggly. Turn off the oven and leave the cheesecake inside for an additional hour.
- 4
Cool and refrigerate
Remove the cheesecake from the oven and allow it to cool at room temperature for about 30 minutes. Once cooled, cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight, before serving.
