Cooking Instructions

1

Prepare the Linguini

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add linguini and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Reserve 1 cup of pasta water, then drain the pasta and set aside.

2

Cook the Clams

In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and red pepper flakes, sautéing until fragrant (about 1 minute).

3

Add Wine and Clams

Pour in the white or red wine and increase the heat to high. Add the clams, cover the skillet, and cook until the clams have opened, about 5-7 minutes. Discard any clams that do not open.

4

Combine Linguini and Sauce

Add the cooked linguini to the skillet with the clams. Toss to combine, adding reserved pasta water a little at a time until desired sauce consistency is reached.

5

Finish and Serve

Stir in chopped parsley, and season with salt and black pepper to taste. Serve immediately with lemon wedges on the side.
