Method

Turkey

  1. 1

    Prepare the Turkey

Preheat your oven to 325°F (165°C). Remove the turkey giblets and pat the turkey dry with paper towels.

  2. 2

    Season the Turkey

Rub the turkey with olive oil, then season generously with salt, black pepper, rosemary, thyme, and minced garlic.

  3. 3

    Roast the Turkey

Place the turkey on a rack in a roasting pan and roast for about 13-15 minutes per pound, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C). Let it rest for 20 minutes before carving.

Stuffing

  1. 4

    Sauté Vegetables

In a large skillet, heat some olive oil over medium heat. Add diced onion and celery, and sauté until softened, about 5-7 minutes.

  2. 5

    Combine Ingredients

In a large bowl, combine bread cubes, sautéed vegetables, beaten eggs, sage, chicken broth, salt, and pepper. Mix well.

  3. 6

    Bake Stuffing

Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish and cover with foil. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for about 30 minutes, then uncover and bake for an additional 15 minutes until golden brown.

Mashed Potatoes

  1. 7

    Boil the Potatoes

Place peeled and quartered potatoes in a large pot and cover with water. Bring to a boil and cook until tender, about 20 minutes.

  2. 8

    Mash Potatoes

Drain the potatoes and return them to the pot. Add butter, milk, salt, and pepper. Mash until smooth and creamy.

Green Beans

  1. 9

    Sauté Green Beans

In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add trimmed green beans and minced garlic, season with salt and pepper, and sauté for about 5-7 minutes until tender-crisp.

Pumpkin Pie

  1. 10

    Prepare Pie Filling

In a mixing bowl, combine pumpkin puree, sugar, eggs, cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, and evaporated milk. Mix until smooth.

  2. 11

    Bake the Pie

Pour the filling into the pie crust and bake at 425°F (220°C) for 15 minutes. Then lower the temperature to 350°F (175°C) and bake for an additional 40-50 minutes until set.

  3. 12

    Cool the Pie

Allow the pie to cool on a wire rack before slicing and serving.
