Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Preheat the Oven

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) to ensure it reaches the right temperature for baking.

  2. 2

    Prepare Baking Pan

Grease a 9x13 inch baking pan with butter or non-stick spray to prevent sticking.

Mixing Ingredients

  1. 3

    Combine Dry Ingredients

In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, and salt until well combined.

  2. 4

    Mix Wet Ingredients

In another bowl, whisk together the milk, vegetable oil, vanilla extract, and eggs until the mixture is smooth.

  3. 5

    Combine Wet and Dry Mixtures

Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients. Stir gently with a spatula or wooden spoon until just combined. Do not overmix.

Baking

  1. 6

    Pour Batter into Pan

Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and spread it evenly with a spatula.

  2. 7

    Bake

Place the pan in the preheated oven and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.

  3. 8

    Cool

Once baked, remove the pan from the oven and let it cool in the pan for 10 minutes. Then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
