Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Meat

Slice the roast beef into thin, even pieces. This will help ensure that each sandwich has a good amount of beef.

  2. 2

    Toast the Rolls

Preheat an oven to 350°F (175°C). Cut the onion rolls in half and place them on a baking sheet. Toast them in the oven for about 5-7 minutes or until they are lightly golden.

Assembly

  1. 3

    Spread Condiments

Take the toasted onion rolls and spread 1 tablespoon of mayonnaise on the bottom half of each roll. Follow with 1 tablespoon of BBQ sauce.

  2. 4

    Layer the Ingredients

On top of the condiments, layer the sliced roast beef evenly across each roll. Place 1 slice of American cheese on top of the roast beef. Finally, add a generous amount of frizzled onions on top of the cheese.

  3. 5

    Complete the Sandwich

Top each sandwich with the other half of the onion roll. Press down gently to meld the ingredients together.

Serving

  1. 6

    Serve the Sandwiches

Serve the North Shore Style Roast Beef sandwiches warm, and enjoy with your favorite sides or chips.
