Pasta Preparation

    Cook the Pasta

    Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the elbow macaroni and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

Cheese Sauce Preparation

    In a large saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter. Once melted, whisk in the flour and cook for about 1 minute until bubbly and lightly golden.

    Add Milk

    Gradually whisk in the milk, continuing to whisk until the mixture is smooth. Bring to a simmer and cook for about 5 minutes until thickened.

    Add Cheeses

    Reduce heat to low and stir in the gruyère, jack, cheddar, parmesan, and blue cheese until melted and smooth. Season with salt, black pepper, and garlic powder.

    Combine with Pasta

    Add the cooked macaroni to the cheese sauce and stir until well combined.

Topping Preparation

    In a small bowl, mix together the breadcrumbs, chopped parsley, and olive oil until combined.
