Ribs & Smokie Joe Ingredients

Method

Cooking Instructions

1

Prepare the Ribs

Preheat the oven to 300°F (150°C). In a bowl, mix together brown sugar, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper to create a dry rub. Rub the mixture all over the ribs. Place the ribs on a baking sheet lined with aluminum foil and cover tightly with another piece of foil.

2

Bake the Ribs

Bake the ribs in the preheated oven for 2.5 to 3 hours, until tender. Remove from the oven and let them rest for 10 minutes before brushing with BBQ sauce.

3

Cook the Smokie Joe

While the ribs are baking, heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the Smokie Joe sausages and cook until browned on all sides, about 8-10 minutes. Remove from heat and set aside.

4

Combine and Serve

Once the ribs have rested, brush additional BBQ sauce on them and slice into portions. Serve the ribs with the Smokie Joe sausages on buns, topped with coleslaw. Enjoy your family-sized meal!
