Deviled Eggs Ingredients

Method

Directions for Deviled Eggs

  1. 1

    Boil the Eggs

In a saucepan, place the eggs and cover with cold water. Bring to a boil over medium heat. Once boiling, cover and remove from heat. Let sit for 12 minutes.

  2. 2

    Cool and Peel

After 12 minutes, transfer the eggs to a bowl of ice water to cool for 5 minutes. Once cooled, peel the eggs and slice them in half lengthwise.

  3. 3

    Prepare the Filling

Remove the yolks from the egg halves and place them in a mixing bowl. Add mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, white vinegar, salt, black pepper, and half of the paprika. Mash until smooth and creamy.

  4. 4

    Fill the Egg Whites

Spoon or pipe the yolk mixture back into the egg white halves. Sprinkle with remaining paprika and garnish with chopped chives.

  5. 5

    Serve

Arrange the deviled eggs on a platter and serve immediately or refrigerate until ready to serve.
