Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Ribs

Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C). Remove the membrane from the back of the ribs and pat them dry with paper towels.

  2. 2

    Season the Ribs

In a bowl, mix together brown sugar, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika. Rub the spice mixture all over the ribs, ensuring they are well coated.

  3. 3

    Bake the Ribs

Place the seasoned ribs on a baking sheet lined with aluminum foil. Cover tightly with another piece of foil and bake in the preheated oven for 2.5 to 3 hours.

  4. 4

    Add BBQ Sauce

Remove the ribs from the oven and discard the top foil. Brush the ribs generously with BBQ sauce. Increase the oven temperature to 400°F (200°C) and return the ribs to the oven, uncovered, for an additional 20-30 minutes until caramelized.

  5. 5

    Rest and Serve

Remove the ribs from the oven and let them rest for about 10 minutes. Cut into individual portions and serve with your choice of two sides.
