Prepare the Pork
Rub the pork shoulder with the salt, black pepper, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, and cayenne pepper. Make sure to cover all sides evenly.

Marinate
Let the seasoned pork sit at room temperature for about 30 minutes or refrigerate overnight for better flavor.

Rest the Meat
Once cooked, remove the pork from the smoker and let it rest for at least 30 minutes before shredding.

Make the Sauce
In a saucepan over medium heat, combine ketchup, apple cider vinegar, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, mustard, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper. Stir well and let simmer for 15-20 minutes until thickened.
