Pour the beef broth into the bag with the brisket. Seal the bag tightly, ensuring that the broth is evenly distributed around the meat.

Place the sealed bag in the refrigerator and marinate for at least 4 hours, or preferably overnight for maximum flavor.

Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C) if you’re planning to slow cook the brisket. Remove the brisket from the refrigerator and let it sit at room temperature for about 30 minutes.
